WHO WE ARE

  • The Connecticut Federation of Catholic School Parents represents Catholic schools in Connecticut, and is committed to educate Catholic school parents and the Catholic school community regarding the rights and issues concerning the education of children attending Catholic schools.

 

WHAT ARE THE FEDERATION’S OBJECTIVE

  • To organize, educate and advocate for public policies supporting families who entrust their children to Catholic schools in Connecticut and expand the opportunities for all citizens to have the choice of sending their children to Catholic schools in Connecticut. 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Catholic schools save the taxpayers of Connecticut over $400 million a year.

 

  • The Connecticut Federation of Catholic School Parents has secured or saved $1.9 million for our Catholic schools in the form of textbooks, additional busing, additional nursing, special services and grants.   This includes defeating an $877,000 proposed reduction in nursing and busing reimbursement for municipalities to provide busing and nursing to our Catholic schools.

 

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

  • Lawmakers need to hear from you, their constituents, regarding Catholic schools.  Join the Federation’s Grassroots Advocacy Network which makes it easy for you to stay informed and easily enables you to contact your lawmakers.
