Think Safety Student Awareness Program

STUDENT “SAFETY FIRST” EDUCATION PROGRAM

Each year the Diocese of Bridgeport provides workshops for our youngsters as a complement to the Virtus/Protecting God’s Children program adults are required to undergo. The program is called “Think First & Stay Safe!” and it is part of the Child Lures Prevention initiative which the Diocese subscribes to. The students are divvied up into 3 grade/age appropriate groups and given easy to understand guidelines on how to avoid situations of potential danger and what to look for as well as how to get help is you feel uncomfortable or threatened in any way by an adult. Below are family resources available to you to understand what your children will be learning.
