Tuition & Financial Aid

ST. JAMES TUITION SCHEDULE (CLICK HERE) –  Includes payment options and the After School Program costs.

There are three distinct tuition categories.

  • Preschool
  • Grades K-8 “In Diocese”
  • Grades K-8 “Out of Diocese”

Payment Program: Tuition is handled centrally through the Diocese of Bridgeport, which uses the SMART tuition management program to process payments.  All families are required to complete either on online SMART registration or a paper form and submit it to the school for processing.  Actual payment options are detailed in the current tuition schedule.

Re-enrollment: In January of each year, we ask families to make a commitment regarding the next year’s enrollment.  There is a re-enrollment contract and a deposit required  in order to guarantee that we hold your child’s seat for the following school year.

Other Cost Factors:  St. James works hard to keep cost as affordable as possible and to keep cost increases to a minimal.  Please keep in mind that in addition to the tuition, there are miscellaneous costs such as uniforms, classroom supplies, field trips and such.  Textbooks books are included in the cost of tuition.
